Buiten het circuit hoort Freek de wagens al testrondjes rijden. Maar eenmaal binnen krijgt Freek van papa een gehoorbeschermer op. Freek is beteuterd, maar het maakt hem ook vastberaden om dan in ieder geval zoveel mogelijk van de wedstrijd te zíén. En zo komt het dat hem iets opvalt wat niemand anders in de gaten heeft... Kan Freek een grote crash voorkomen?
