Destination Perron d'Illustration - Train Station Haarlem

BonjourTatin HQ is located at Haarlem Train Station, and is also known as 'Perron d'Illustration'. This historical structure which used to be the train conductor's office is made solely out of wood and glass and stands on an actual trainplatform in the middle of the station. The stunning antique Art Nouveau architecture dates back to 1906. Every day, the trains to Amsterdam and Leiden pass by, symbolising the roots of the BonjourTatin brand.

What makes Haarlem Central Train Station unique?

Haarlem Central Is the first train station build in the Netherlands and was originally designed to connect Haarlem with our capitol Amsterdam. It stands out for its charming antique design that transports visitors back in time. The intricate details and historical significance of the station make it a true gem in the heart of Haarlem. Designed by railway specialist and architect Dirk Margadant (1849-1915) The station was built in Art Nouveau style and is on a list of national monuments. The tracks are elevated to avoid conflict with city traffic.
